David Chami graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2009.
He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. During law school, David was nominated for the Outstanding Graduate Award and won the Prize for Public Interest for his work with Valley youth.
David is the Managing Partner of the firms Consumer Protection Department and is the firms lead trial attorney. In 2014, Mr. Chami obtained a multi-million dollar jury verdict in an Insurance Bad Faith case and has recovered over $10,000,000 dollars for his clients since 2013.
David has successfully tried cases related to Civil Rights, Employment Law and Insurance Bad Faith.
In February of 2015, David focused his practice primarily on Consumer Protection cases. Specifically, David’s practice is focused on the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Electronic Funds Transfer Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
David was either the lead or supervising attorney in over 200 Consumer cases in 2015 and he has continued that trend in 2016.
David has served on CAIR-AZ’s Board for over 5 years – and lends his legal expertise to our in-house legal team on a pro-bono basis.
