Imraan Siddiqi has been the Executive Director of CAIR-Arizona since 2015. He joined the chapter in 2011, and was instrumental in helping re-build the organization into one of the most respected civil rights organizations in Arizona.
During his time on the Board of Directors, Imraan served as Chairman from 2013-2015.
He is a frequent media contributor, and has been quoted on issues pertaining to Islamophobia and issues concerning Muslims in media outlets across the world. Imraan’s writings have also been published in many media outlets since 2002.
He has led CAIR-AZ through many high-profile cases during his time with the organization – including being a plaintiff on the first legal challenge to the Muslim Ban.
During Imraan’s time at CAIR-AZ, he has received LUCHA-AZ’s “Community Luchador Award” for his activism, as well as the chapter being recognized by the East Valley NAACP with their President’s Award.
Imraan holds an MBA from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas-Arlington.
