To show solidarity with and support for the victims of the recent attacks in Boston, Muslim Leaders of America, in collaboration with Council of American Islamic Relations AZ, invites ASU students and the AZ community to join us for a candlelight vigil this Sunday.

Please be there at 5:00 PM sharp; we will be lighting candles and organizing speakers for the event.

Invite friends and family to the event, and share this event on your FB page.

In light of the recent attacks in Boston, social media has brought attention to the perpetrators of the bombings in violence for their Muslim background. As a united Muslim community, it is essential that we represent Islam as the peaceful faith that it is and condemn these acts. Feel free to contact us with any questions. We encourage people from ALL BACKGROUNDS to attend; this is not exclusively a Muslim event. Attendees are encouraged to bring posters, signs to the event.

5:32 (Asad) "...that if anyone slays a human being-unless it be [in punishment] for murder or for spreading corruption on earth-it shall be as though he had slain all mankind; whereas, if anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he had saved the lives of all mankind."

The event is being sponsored by Muslim Leaders of America, and co-sponsored by Save our Syrian Freedom, Muslim Liberty Project, Pakistan West, Students for Justice in Palestine.
